GUIDO VADA WINERY
Our history
The winery has been established 1850 by Lorenzo Vada who, originally from the village of Neive; he decided to move to the nearby village of Coazzolo by purchasing some plots of land. From that moment, the cultivation of grapes begins and with it the production of wine, only for family use purposes.
The activity of Lorenzo passed to his son Luigi, who signed a turning point of the winery, starting the vinification of Moscato d’Asti, finding a fair success on the local Alba market.
In the 80s Luigi’s son, Sergio, built the new winery close to the family farm and continued the vinification of the grapes, producing mainly Barbera for private customers.
The New Generation
In 2008 he began experimenting with new winemaking procedures for the Moscato in a dry version, giving rise to a new way of interpreting this popular and well known grape.
