THE MOSCATO TERRITORY
between Langhe and Monferrato
Our winery is located in the heart of the Moscato hills, between the two hilly systems of Langhe and Monferrato: here we find a marine sedimentation soil, therefore very friable, with a structure characterized by sedimentary rocks, with alternation of marly clays and sands. The view is striking, with large valleys and soft hills , almost all drawn by vineyards.
COAZZOLO
Here, a few kilometers from Neive, lies the small village of Coazzolo, about 300 inhabitants, where the main activity is the production of grapes, almost exclusively Moscato and Barbera.
The Moscato Chapel
The Church of the Blessed Virgin of Carmelo or simply called by all “the tiny church” is located in Località Gallo, in a true panoramic viewpoint that enjoys a view of the vineyards at 360°. This is definitely a place of peace and, above all, of art and colors. The exterior walls of this church were painted recently by the english artist David Tremlet, who after twenty years from his work in La Morra on the Barolo chapel, gave new light to this corner of Coazzolo, making it unique and special.
